Field Production...

This workshop teaches the fundamental skills needed
to produce a remote television program.

Topics covered include;
Shooting video with the Panasonic AG-30 Mini DV camera.
Field audio using handheld and lavalier microphones.
Field lighting using portable light kits.
Proper framing and composition of shots.


The Field Production classes begin the first week of each month
and last for two consecutive Thursdays or Saturdays.

Thursday sessions are held from 6-9pm
Saturday sessions are held from 11-2pm


Video editing will be taught using the AVID Xpress DV editing software.
Members may register for the next available editing class,
after they have shot the video for their program.

Graphics are taught using the Trinity editing system.

Audio levels are set using a Mackie audio board.
